Okay, that’s enough writing about myself in the third person.

I’m 26 writing this. I love running, coaching, mountains, the coast, spending time with my dog Roscoe, and a lot of stuff I could spend all day writing about. I have had struggles with mental health in the past so I am easily carried away unless I keep emphasis on focus and structure, no matter how that needs to show up In life. I like to stay organized and optimize systems. Running frequently gives my life the pleasure and privilege of that structure- it’s baked-in motivation, meaning, challenging, and recreation, all in one. Running has become one of the deepest sources of purpose in my life which I hope continues to perpetually bleed and grow into as many other aspects of this experience as possible.

For me, running is as physical as it is mental, and especially, spiritual. None of which aspects are or need to be 100% clearly effective or presenting in a polished or performative way, but just in the sense that the at of running orients and grounds me, sharpens me, and lights something up in me that nothing else really does. I know not everyone relates to that, and that’s fine. But I do think people need something that pulls them toward purpose, aliveness, and becoming better, and feeling the way I do about running is a good way to think about whatever that something is. Even if it is running, the truth is we all can’t run forever, so I want to explore the feeling this gives me and find where I can recreate it wherever or however I am.

I care about growth, authenticity, creativity, and building something that helps people. That applies to my racing, my coaching, and the way I want to move through life. I want to compete at the highest level I can, help other people grow in the process, and make this whole thing bigger than just me.

This website is part personal hub, part coaching, part creative, and part running/career archive/resume. It’s a place for me to share what I’m building, what I’m learning, and whatever else feels worth putting into this little corner of the internet.

If you want to work together, go for a run, or reach out for any reason, don’t be shy. It’s all love!
